Life Plan

I read an article some time ago about crafting a life plan. So many men of my age and my generation let life happen as they float along. I agree with the author of this article that this is not how we are meant to pursue our dreams and goals; letting them happen to us rather than actively pursuing them. One way to adhere to our goals, to stay focused over a lifetime, to make minute adjustments and better decision is to have a plan. Similar to running a business our lives should have a loose fitting plan. I say loose because we do not want to look at change as an evil. Over time things change and we must adapt and reevaluate. Change is good.
So I have begun... With a small notebook and a little time here and there and some conversations already started with my wife, I am creating a plan. An idea, a map, a blue print of sorts for how I would like to go forward with my life.
I no longer want to be apathetic about life. I want to be active. I want to jump into opportunities head first and see what happens.
